My feeling is that there’s a special place in hell reserved for people who rice NSXs.

Nice photo but

In a way. I don’t really think garish bodykits like that are clean. And any time you’re removing the body-moulded rear spoiler and replacing it with one that doesn’t use the bodyshape at all, you’re making it worse.

Just my opinion of course

What do you think of OEM wings that do that? Say, on a Porsche GT3, Lancer, or a WRX?

Does a Lancer or WRX do that? The Porsche is a bit different, they haven’t left a gaping spoiler hole ready to be filled, they’ve compensated with more bodywork.

I’m talking about something like this - running no spoiler (or a spoiler mounted differently) such that the recess for the spoiler isn’t filled.

And besides, you know someone who’s baggin’ rice will do and say anything to defend the OEM ;)

The only difference on the Lancer and WRX is that the mounts are on the outer edge of the wing.
But I get what you mean, I hadn’t thought of this gap before. On the other hand, Honda did the same thing on the JGTC cars.

I like that Skyline, though, because:

The answer is yes.

I see it on R33s around fairly often, because Skyline owners and messing with spoilers go hand in hand.

It’s hard to argue if it’s actually for racing, rather than some hack’s aftermarket bodykit which likely does crap all. Plus, if Honda do it themselves it must be fine ;)

Wow, I never thought of them as fins! That’s a whole new spin on the look...JDM fins!

I love that color. But it needs less gaudy wheels and someone pls raise it for god’s sake. Otherwise I’d tap that. (I’m a terrible human being)
